More than a rock it's fire protection.
ROXUL® insulation is stone wool which means it not only saves energy,
it does things other insulation can't.
ROXUL® Comfortboard™ IS
Rigid Insulated Sheathing
Water resistant, vapor permeable sheathing that provides a continuous layer
of insulation around the building.
Interior Wall Soundproofing Batts
Non-combustible and lightweight with excellent acoustical dampening properties,
it easily fits wall, ceiling and floor applications.
Thermal Batt Insulation
Easy to cut, has a flexible edge that expands against frame studs, water
and moisture resistant and won't promote mildew growth.
We also carry Owens Corning Fiberglas Insulation and Foamular Rigid Foam
Insulation is more than just keeping out the cold. Properly installed insulation
retains warmth in the winter months and cool air in the warmer ones. It
helps manage noise, reduces moisture related problems, and controls energy
costs. Fiberglass insulation is a very cost effective and energy efficient
way to provide an increased level of comfort within your home.
Don't let your hard earned dollars go through the roof! Insulating
the attic is the #1 way to save money on energy bills. Insulating the
interior walls of a home can beneficial when it comes to noise control.
Insulating exterior walls helps keep cold or hot air out and keep comfort
in. Insulating a heated basement or crawlspace will make the whole house
more comfortable, while also saving on energy bills.
FOAMULAR® rigid foam insulation installs directly against the foundation
wall. It offers excellent moisture resistance without losing insulating
power (R-value), even after exposure to wet soil. It withstands the pressure
of backfilling and resists the effect of acids & soil elements.
Cold floors are a major complaint. Often the problem is an uninsulated
floor above an unheated crawlspace or basement. If you have a vented crawlspace
with insulated ducts and no pipes, the best course of action is to insulate
the floor above it.
Cellulose insulation has been around for a long time. National Fiber's
Cel-Pak is 'dense-packed' in walls at a density of 3.2 - 3.5 lbs
of material per cubic foot of space, or more than twice its settled density.
The installation process ensures that cavities are completely filled -
no gaps, no voids, no pockets or spaces, and using 3.5 lbs. of material
per cubic foot ensures that the material is under slight pressure in the
wall cavity, leaving no room for settling. Cellulose has improved in quality
and sophistication over time, and it now provides exceptional resistance
to fire, moisture, mold, and vermin, and, superior thermal and sound insulation
that comes naturally to cellulose.
SUPER TUFF-R COMMERCIAL INSULATION
Dow Super TUFF-R™ Commercial Insulation features a high-performance
polyisocyanurate foam core with three-ply poly/aluminum foil facers laminated
to the core, resulting in exceptional durability. One facer is blue; the
other facer is radiant barrier-quality reflective foil.
HOUSE AND BUILDING WRAP
TYPAR® HouseWrap is a key building material to ask for as part of your
new home design to assure your long-term comfort and greatly reduced risk
of moisture penetration and damage. It provides superior water holdout
— blocks water from entering the wall cavity; exceptional moisture
vapor transmission (MVT) — it breathes so moisture can escape the
wall cavity; superior tear strength — proven to withstand heavy
winds and is almost five times stronger than the leading competitive wrap;
and optimal surfactant and UV resistance — reduces the damaging
effects that oils and tannins from cedar siding, cement siding, stucco,
brick and soaps from powerwashing can have on the system’s ability
to block bulk moisture penetration - stands up to the beating sun on the
jobsite for up to 6 months without degradation.
RainDrop Building Wrap has innovative drainage channels to keep water out
of the wall system. The channels won’t crimp, collapse, or flatten,
ensuring water will drain no matter how tightly cladding is nailed to
the wall. Because it’s not perforated, RainDrop resists air and
water infiltration. Plus it breathes to allow moisture vapor to escape.
With its high tear resistance and translucent design, installation is
quick and easy with no job site waste. And it stays UV-stable up to 4
months. RainDrop is an ideal secondary weather barrier for fiber cement,
vinyl, foam-backed vinyl, and wood sidings.
DOUBLE REFLECTIVE INSULATION
Reflectix Double Reflective Insulation is a most versatile, widely distributed,
energy efficient product that is easy to handle and install. It consists
of two 96% reflective layers of film bonded to two internal layers of
heavy gauge polyethylene bubbles (total thickness 5/16"). It comes
in a wide variety of widths and lengths. Applications include attic, cathedral
ceiling, crawl space, behind hot water radiator, garage door, knee wall,
radiant floor - wood joists, storage building, exterior wall (2 x 4 and
2 x 6), wine room, work shop and more.
